What we collect

We collect your name, email address, and order details when you create an account or place an order. Payment details are processed by Stripe and never stored by us.

Vendor tax information (HMRC reporting)

Sell4Life is required by HMRC's Digital Platform Reporting Rules (DPRR) to collect and report certain information about sellers who exceed the reporting threshold (30 or more transactions, or approximately £1,700 in gross payouts, in a calendar year). If your store reaches this threshold, we will ask you to provide:

• Your legal full name and date of birth
• Your residential address
• Your National Insurance number or Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR)

This information is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption and is never stored in plain text. It is accessed only by authorised Sell4Life administrators for the purposes of HMRC compliance reporting. We do not use it for any other purpose, and we do not share it with third parties other than HMRC as required by law. You may request deletion of this data by emailing support@sell4life.com, subject to our legal obligations to retain it for HMRC purposes.

How we use your data

We use your data to process orders, send order updates, and improve our service. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and process payments securely. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
